[Her
claimed "spot", my desk]

This page is
dedicated to our cat, SweetPea or in other words, our "child".
She has enough personality to kill you with cuteness, if that is
such a thing. She just turned five in April. And she loves being
the center of attention. I think sometimes she thinks people come
over to visit her and not us! Interesting
enough, she does get a lot of attention, whether it's from the neighbors,
or the delivery folks, or from our friends and family. Everyone
remembers her. They always ask "How's Sweetpea?". I mean
to be honest with you, there are a lot of people that I can't remember
their name. But their pet's?

She
is definitely a princess! And a one-of-a-kind kitty. She refuses
to wear a collar, because that must mean she is a cat, or something.
As it is, she has to have "her food" and "her water".
No substitutes. And she'll remind us when we haven't given her what
she wants, including cleaning her litter or clearing off "her"
spot, whichever one happens to be currently occupied by anything
other than her, including two spots on the bed, one on the dresser,
a storage box, the top of my desk, in the window, and the ottoman.
She's very good at communicating with us. "Do you want out?"
and she runs to the door. Or if she's outside, usually just calling
her name she will run home. If she's outside when we have to leave,
she'll be there waiting for us. But hey, she can usually opens the
doors herself, if left ajar. It can be pretty funny at times, or
creepy if you aren't expecting the door to creak open slowly. She
loves to jump on the door to open it, or she will try to get her
paw behind it, if it's a cabinet door. Nothing is out of her reach,
including my barrettes, scrunches, twist-ties, paper clips, and
other random stuff.
Well,
I gotta go. She's underneath me, hitting me with her tail, letting
me know it's time to go to bed. Does anyone else have a pet that
has a bed time? And if I don't go soon, she'll start walking on
the keyboard...
