Chris and Darcy Ryan - Our Wedding on August 11, 2001

A U G U S T 1 1 , 2 0 0 1

We got married at Edna Valley Vineyard in San Luis Obispo, California. The wedding was officiated by Sherri Hereford outside. The weather was warm and beautiful, but a little windy. The reception was held indoors at the winery.

The wedding colors were royal blue, silver and white. The bride wore a white strapless gown from A Heart's Desire in Paso Robles. The groom and his groomsmen wore black tuxedos from Ronnie's Tuxedo in San Luis Obispo. The bridesmaids wore royal blue semiformal gowns created with love by Darcy's aunt, Doranna Morris.

The colors were also reflected in the flowers created by Rosemary Dickson by using white roses and blue delphiniums, due to their lack of scent (allergies) and other wine related greenery. Mary Lou Johnson did the calligraphy signs on the tables. Salon 544's Cheri Eastwood did the bride's hair and Allison Tompson did the makeup. The salon also provided services for the bridesmaids and mother-of-the bride.

The photography was taken by Jeff and Christine Greene of Image West Photography. There was live music at the wedding provided by Pete Ryan's ensemble and American Mobile Sound provided a disc jockey for the reception. The catering was provided by Jill and Elaine of Popolo Rotisserie Cafe. The cake was made with love by Chris' grandmother, Arlene Ryan. And a special thanks to Gary Elms of Body and Sole who gave me a badly needed pre-wedding massage.

It was a beautiful wedding. Chris and I enjoyed ourselves immensely and we LOVED the food! We will be posting photos of the wedding and honeymoon, as we can. Please feel free to contact us at any time!
